– Faruk Medical City
(FMC) launched its annual Breast Cancer Awareness event, which took place on
October 15th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the FMC auditorium. The event
aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of
early detection, prevention, and treatment options.
The event
featured a powerful lineup of activities, including the screening of a video
documenting the inspiring journey of a breast cancer survivor. Following the
video, renowned healthcare professionals at FMC Dr. Nariman Mohammed Aziz who

cancer research and treatment.
One of the
key highlights was a live testimonial from the cancer survivor featured in the
video, who shared her personal success story in the fight against breast
cancer. Audience members had the opportunity to engage with her in a Q&A
session, providing a platform for open discussion and sharing of experiences.
"We
are honored to provide a platform for this important conversation, bringing
together medical professionals, survivors, and the community to raise awareness
and provide hope," said FMC Deputy Chief Executive Officer Dr. Yar Ezzadin Mustafa.
The Breast Cancer Awareness event was open to
the public, and attendees were encouraged to join the conversation and support
those affected by breast cancer.
