Presently, our operations revolve around a cutting-edge Mechanical Bio-Drying Treatment (MBT) Plant. This facility is capable to efficiently processes 400,000 tons of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) annually, transforming it into Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) utilized by cement plants. 
Our process significantly reduces the amount of discarded material directed to the environmentally conscious landfill within the plant, accounting for less than 10% of the treated MSW quantities.
 
EcoCem aides Sulaymaniyah City Municipality by managing its MSW and supplying RDF to cement plants such as Gasen Cement Company and Bazian Cement Company. This RDF helps reduce fossil fuel usage in cement production.

Our plant significantly curbs environmental impact by cutting water and air pollution, reducing landfill volume by over 85%, and establishing a top-notch landfill meeting international standards complete with its own leachate water treatment. It also eliminates air pollution from landfill fires and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by reusing waste as fuel.
